Delivery Costs

The following delivery costs as generated by Paypal are to UK mainland only. Please contact us for all other quotes.
Delivery costs vary according to what and how much you order.
Delivery is calculated at the following rates:-

41p per kg for Timber showjumps,Working hunter and cups*

29p per kg for Mobile cross country*

39p per kg for Plastic showjumps*

*All delivery costs are subject to an additional £10 minimum delivery charge.

Typical Examples:

Timber Showjumps comprising of the following:-
3prs 5' sloping club wings 
1pr 2' x 10' solid board fillers
1 x 10' paddock plank
4 x 10' poles
5prs plastic cups 
Total weight = 149.5 kg @ 41p per kg = £61.30
Total delivery cost £61.30 + £10 minimum delivery charge = £71.30*

*This price includes delivery and wrapping. Wrapping is required for painted showjumps to give added protection.

We always ensure we are sending your order using the most cost effective method and this will either be, Our own drivers, National carriers or Royal Mail.

Delivery Times
Delivery does depend very much on the product you are ordering.
We try to keep some items in stock and this is indicated on the product within our online shop, delivery on stock items can be within 5 working days.
The majority of items are specifically made to order and therefore will take longer to deliver because they have to be made.
Delivery time will range from 2 - 8 weeks with an average order time of 4 weeks.
If you are ordering goods for a specific event please contact us with the specific dates and we can advise you as to wether we can fulfill the order in time.  
Ordering out of season will usually give a much faster delivery time. For a more precise delivery time please contact us.

Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Contracts
After you have viewed the goods you would like to order and have placed your order contracts are only accepted when you have received confirmation of your order from us by email or by invoice.

In the unlikely event if we cannot supply goods ordered we will offer you an alternative which may be at a higher price or we will offer you a full refund.
Work will not be commenced on your order until we have received pre-payment and deposit from you.
When buying goods or services on the internet the buyer is entering a legally binding contract.
UK law is applicable.

 

Our Guarantee and returns policy

Countryside Showjumps is totally committed to customer satisfaction and we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and service. However in the unlikely event that, as a private consumer, you are not totally satisfied with any goods purchased please inform us, in writing within 7days, starting on the day after the goods are delivered to you, and we will give you a replacement or refund. The goods must be returned to us unused, and wherever possible, in the original packaging, together with your receipt or original invoice. We recommend that you keep all the original packaging until you are sure you intend to keep the goods. If the original packaging is not available you should use packaging that would provide similar protection. (Please note carriage costs will be refunded only if the item is faulty, or if it differs in any way from the advertised goods, otherwise Countryside will not bear the cost of returned goods) Please send all correspondence to the address at the bottom of the page.

Refunds will not be made for goods made to customers personal specification unless faulty or different to that ordered.

Please ensure that you order the size appropriate for the intended use

Cancellation policy

If as private customer you wish to cancel your order you may do so within 7 working days starting with the day when the goods are delivered. You must ensure that you take reasonable care of goods and return them to Countryside Showjumps Ltd in protective packaging and you be responsible for the costs of return of goods. If you decide to cancel a refund will be made within 30 days of receipt of your written cancellation and return of goods so we can check the condition. Our standard cancellation policy does not apply to goods that have been made to customer specifications such as sign written  jumps.

Returns policy for faulty goods and goods different to those advertised

If you inform us within a short period of time we will offer to collect the goods and refund your money or if you wish we will replace the goods. If more than a short period has passed before you inform of us the problem we will offer a repair or replacement, if the goods cannot be repaired or replaced we will refund your money. Refunds may be reduced if you have used the item or have had it for sometime.

Please note that timber is a natural product and as such is prone to movement we cannot be held responsible for shrinking, expansion and to a degree shaking to our products.

 

Privacy policy and Data protection Act
The information we need, how we use it and protect it.

When you place an order with us, we will require your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and mobile if possible, and for online shopping credit/debit card number, card expiry date and security number (the last 3 numbers on the back of your card). For some cards we also require Issue Number and 'Valid From' date. Without this information we will not be able to process your order, notify you of acceptance of your order or deliver your order.
Our site uses secure server software to protect your information whenever you place an order using your credit card. To minimise the risk of information being intercepted before it is recieved by us, this software encrypts the credit card information you input before it is sent to us.


Data protection statement

We follow security procedures as required under UK Data Protection Legislation (the Data Protection Act 1998) to protect the information that we store about you from unauthorised access. Our Data Protection Registration Number is: Z8251207

We only hold information ourselves and do not pass it on to any third party.
However we may pass the information to couriers and other agents in case they need to contact you to arrange the processing  or delivery of your order.
